Just little pieces out of larger pieces I've been working on. The little puppy is inspired by my old roommate's dog - so fluffy! The flowers are "Tommy Tucker" roses, but I went and accidentally drew the wrong leaves on them! You can see in a couple of the pictures my passion for drawing wood grain. It's tedious at times, but I love texture too much to leave it out. With the duck you can see I've been messing around a little with how reflections should look. Generally I don't want them to take over the picture, but it seems silly to not have them there.
You are a great illustrator Melody, it makes me want to get back to the drawing board myself! Keep up the great work, love those little faces, soo cute!
